Clayton Mullen Releases Debut EP: South of Forever

06/24/2022

Clayton Mullen has officially released his debut EP titled South of Forever.

Back in 2022, Clayton released his debut single, "Marker's Mark," which was written by Caleb Lathrop. In the following months, he released "South of Forever," "Love Goes," and "My Guitar," all of which were co-written by him. These four songs ended up making the track-list for his debut EP and offer a variety of concepts when listening to the whole completion.

In addition to the EP, Clayton currently has yet another song released called "Burnt Orange." This song is without a doubt a fan favorite as it has a great storyline about falling for a girl from a rival school at a football game (listen below). It even reached #15 on the Texas Music Pickers Spotify Chart where the song gained 23,409 streams within its first week of being released.

Clayton is a 21-year-old rising country singer/songwriter based in Forth Worth, Texas. Yet before he started to release music, Clayton was trying out for Season 20 of American Idol. Unforntautly, he ended up receiving three no's from judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry, and Lionel Richie. But that didn't stop him. He began uploading cover videos along with unreleased originals on his social media platforms, especially Tik Tok, giving himself exposure as an artist. Now, Clayton has accumulated over 48k monthly Spotify listeners whereas his Tik Tok has nearly 20k followers along with over 277k likes. Adding on to the success, his song "South of Forever" reached 100k Spotify streams in just six weeks.

Catch Clayton out on the road this summer doing a few shows of his own and a few where he will be opening up for various artists such as Corey Kent, Jarrod Morris, Grant Gilbert, and Jacob Stelly (see dates below).
