Dangerous: The Double Album Becomes 2nd Longest Running Top 10 Album on Billboard 200
In the Nielsen era, Morgan Wallen's Dangerous: The Double Album has officially spent 73 non-consecutive weeks in the top 10 on the Billboard 200 Chart. With a total of 73 weeks, his album has officially passed Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill album, which spent 72 non-consecutive weeks within the Billboard 200 top 10.
This marks yet another moment of history that has been made by Dangerous: The Double Album. Yet, Morgan Wallen's double album still sits begin Adele's 21, which has a total of 84 non-consecutive weeks.
Although the double album is clearly still raking in mounds of success, Morgan Wallen did decide to start releasing some new music for the year 2022. He began by releasing "Don't Think Jesus" on Good Friday in April. Then proceed by releasing "Thought You Should Know" in May in honor of Mother's Day and a week later released "You Proof" as sort of a birthday gift to himself. All of these singles debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart. It would not be unreasonable to believe that Morgan could release another album in January of 2023.
But for now, he has been fulfilling tour dates on his Dangerous Tour as well as performing at a plethora of festivals. As Morgan said, "This Summer gon be rowdy!!!"
