Hardy and Ernest Perform to Sold Out Crowd At Porter County Fair
On Sunday night, country singers/songwriters Hardy and Ernest performed at the Porter County Fair in Valparaiso, Indiana. At 7:30 p.m. Ernest kicked off the night opening with "Sucker For Small Towns" and closing with a fan favorite, which is also his very first single on country radio, "Flower Shops." Throughout his set, he performed mostly songs from his latest album FLOWER SHOPS (THE ALBUM), along with performing two songs from his debut album Locals Only.
Meanwhile, Hardy opened his performance with "SOLD OUT" and closed with "UNAPOLOGETICALLY COUNTRY AS HELL." Although, he did come back on stage to do an acoustic encore performance, where he sang "SIGNED, SOBER YOU" and "A ROCK." Hardy's set consisted of a variety of his music, throwing it back to OG Hardy with a couple of songs from his EPs, a few songs from Hixtape Vol. 1, a cover of Blake Shelton's "Gods Country" (which he co-wrote), an unreleased rock song called "Jack," and finally a good majority of his set were songs from his latest album A ROCK. Afterward, Hardy came down off of the main stage and walked through the entire front row to meet the fans, signing hats and taking pictures.
It was truly an incredible show. Ernest even revealed that he drove six and a half hours to get to the show. He had previously had a flight booked on the day of the show, but it got delayed. So instead of risking not being there, he hopped in his Bronco and drove all the way from Nashville, Tennessee. On the other hand, Hardy revealed that this was the first time in 31 years that he was not able to be back home to attend his hometown's county fair. As you can see, these two Big Loud boys have a lot of love and dedication towards their fans.
