HARDY Releases Three Brand New Songs, Announces 2023 Half Rock/Half Country Album

On a Sunday night, Hardy announced that he would be releasing three brand new songs that night. Upon the release of "here lies country music," "the mockingbird & THE CROW," and "TRUCK BED," It was revealed that Hardy's second studio album will be released on January 20th of 2023. This album will be half rock and half country. The first half of the album will be country songs and the titles will be in lowercase letters. Meanwhile, the second half will be rock songs and the titles will be capitalized. The title track 'the mockingbird & THE CROW' will be the transition song as the first half of the song is country and the second half of the song is rock.

Hardy explained that for a while now he has had the idea to write a song called "the mockingbird & THE CROW." The mockingbird represents his Mississippi roots as that is the state bird. In addition, it represents how he repeats things he has heard his whole life. The song transitions to the crow character, which is the rock & roll character.
